Privacy & data
Plain-language summary of what Hashimo stores, where it goes, and the controls you have.
WHAT HASHIMO STORES
Everything you log, tied to your account:
Daily check-ins mood, energy, and symptoms.
Food & triggers meals you record and triggers detected or tagged.
Supplements & medication your regimen and what you check off.
Cycle entries you add, if cycle tracking is on.
Labs lab results you upload or enter.
Profile your name, care team, and reminder preferences.
WHERE IT LIVES
Your data is stored in your private account database and is protected so that only you, signed in, can read it. It is never sold, and it is not used to advertise to you.
WHEN DATA LEAVES THE APP
A few features send the relevant data to a processor to do their job — only to return a result to you, never for marketing:
Insights your recent logs and lab history are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic / Claude) to generate your insights.
Voice notes the audio is sent to a speech-to-text service to transcribe what you said.
Lab uploads the file is hosted and read by AI to pull out the marker values.
SIGNING IN
If you sign in with Google or Apple, they only verify who you are and share your name and email — they do not get access to anything you log. Apple's "Hide My Email" shares even less.
